MVP Definition
I work with founders who have an idea and want to bring it to market. I help teams clarify goals, and use that to narrow in on the target audience/user problem to get to a roadmap of prioritized features. I also work with them to flesh out the solutions, conducting usability testing to ensure feasibility, and write tasks for design/engineering to execute on.

Product Development Process
I help early stage startups and large organizations that are starting to build product teams establish product processes. This includes everything from roadmapping, goal setting, writing specs, stakeholder management, product discovery, and more. I also love to talk to folks about establishing best cultural practices to ensure organizational success, and also happy to pair with coaching for individual PMs.

Growing Existing Product
If you have a product that you’re struggling to grow or make work, I can work with you on exploring a lifecycle marketing strategy (across email/push/in-product channels) and looking at your product funnel to identify and brainstorm solutions for impact. This can also include some qualitative research to validate and finesse the hypotheses.

User Research Support
If you need short-term research supports for projects that combine product thinking with qualitative or quantitative insights, I can help. Examples of potential projects:
Entering adjacent markets (defining which market to enter and conducting research to validate pain points)
Refining user segments or journeys and have more strategic views of where to invest
Identifying foundational user needs for a particular user group (or prioritizing them)

Who am I?

I am structured and analytical. I like to take messy, ambiguous problems and break them into manageable chunks for teams to tackle. I am a principled thinker and anchor my decisions in something (whether it’s a metric, product principle, or user need). I also love writing as a way to clarify my thinking, and will always push for a clear, cohesive product narrative

I like to understand the why. My research focuses on building deep empathy with users- who they are, what their world looks like, and how they think about things. My specialty is generative research, whether to understand the depth of the problem space or existing user mental models.

I value transparency and curiosity. I like to get to a place of shared beliefs and context, especially with decision making. I strive to create a kind, curious, and collaborative culture that focuses on how we work as much as what we do. I value collaboration- whether async in Google Docs or jam sessions to unblock thinking.

Past Projects & Experience
Fintech: Providers Debit Launch.
I launched a new debit card for families living on government benefits (SSI and EBT). I joined before we had a MVP, shipped it, and scaled it to 3 million+ users, which required shipping key tablestakes features, integrating debit product within our umbrella Providers app, growth features to increase funding rate by XX%, and scaled the debit product across Ops and Engineering. Fintech/Proptech: Document Submission Flow.
I worked with design and engineering to build a new submission flow that made it 30% easier for clients to submit the right documents to get approved for a rent-to-own homeownership program, which also resulted in internal efficiency improvements. I defined the requirements (including conversations to narrow in the problem & scope), conducted usability testing, removed roadblockers for design & eng, led QA, and analyzed the impact of our launch. Marketplaces: In-product refunds.
Shipped our first refunds product, allowing pros to request refunds in product rather than calling in. It's now the primary refund channel, processing 3k+ refund requests per week with 80% funnel completion rate, as well as 5% increase in pro NPS while driving down CX costs.
